As an experiment: I right-clicked “CSR Bluecore Bluetooth and selected “Update driver”. Clicked on “Browse my computer for driver software”. Clicked on “Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer”. Picked “Generic Bluetooth Adaptor” in place of “CSR Bluecore Bluetooth”. Clicked “next”.

CSR V4.0 Dongle on windows 10 PC. I recently purchase this product to use to connect my Bluetooth earbuds with my PC. I have inserted the dongle into the USB port however the PC will not connect with them. I have the mini disk supplied with the dongle however I have a standard size disk drive. This thread is locked.

Now media controls. The default Windows 10 drivers don't work, either with the dongles or onboard bluetooth. Only by using an old driver for one of the dongles (there is no Windows 10 driver for the other), can I get the media controls to work. I would prefer not to have to use a bulky, outdated software/driver package if Windows can be made to
